The invention relates to an autoclaved aerated concrete block prepared by use of yellow river sands. The block comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 60-70% of yellow river sands, 16-23% of quick lime, 2.0-3.0% of slaked lime, 1.0-1.5% of desulfurized gypsum, 0.08-0.12% of aluminite powder paste, 0.02-0.03% of stabilizer and the balance of cement.
