Look closer. Your service manual specifies .001"-.002" on mains 1 through 4, but .002"-.003" on main 5. That extra clearance on 5 is important. The bearing is identical size, but the journal is .001" smaller. A lot of machine shops neglect to machine #5 journal smaller and lots of AMC engines toast their rear main that way.
