Ive been trying to source some shafting for the drive wheel on a belt grinder im building. I have a drive wheel that locks on with a nut, it was taken off my old little grinder, but the step up pulleys i need use a keyway shaft, both are the same bore(1/2"), but no where ive found sells a partial keyway with a single threaded end.

The grinder is mounted on a vertical tube stand with the motor attached to the tube below the grinder. The following options seem practical. I have an variable speed spring loaded pulley that I removed from one of my folding machines. The spring loaded motor pulley (was on the motor) seemed to work by increasing/decreasing the tension on the belt.

Brown Sharpe #13 universal grinder ID pulley. I have some work that came up for my B&S #13 universal, I need to get my ID grinding attachment set up. I have everything except for the flat belt pulley that is in between the drive motor and the ID spindle. There is a flat belt pulley on the ID spindle and a V-belt pulley on the motor.
