HI; larry Yes piston grinder are still around I have one in my shop, I bought it from a auto machine shop about 30 years ago. I ground old pistons to fit old rusty engines that I would find at the junk yard. The auto shop had pistons that was 50 over, and would grind them down to the size you needed.
