Sharp lathes are, now, used in the one in Dickson. They might have one or a couple of each---the instructors could give you a pretty good recommendation. From my experience with the crappy 20" Summit lathe at work, avoid Summit at all costs. It''s bad enough the thing cuts an .008 football shape over 4ft.
