This is a set of replacement jaws only and does not include the milling attachment. This set of jaws is machined out of 6061 T-6 Aluminum as was shown in our u-tube video about making Atlas machines affordable again. Tree 2UVR Horizontal Milling Attachment Missing Gears I was given a HA-75 Tree horizontal milling attachment, but the gears inside are missing. I would love to get it working but can't seem to find any info/details on it. I can't even figure out how it was attached to the head. I assume the collet closer would have to be removed?

Don's Machine Tool Web Page. Although metalworking shapers aren't used much in the industry anymore, I find them fascinating and useful machines. I currently have three different small shapers: an Atlas 7B which has been refurbished, a Brodhead-Garrett J-line 8" currently being rebuilt, and a South Bend 7" recently acquired.

Atlas started manufacturing the 7 inch shaper in 1937 which sold for $198.00. It was discontinued in the year of 1961. Photo 700, shows a collage of home shop made tools that will work on the Atlas Milling machine. Front left, shows end and shell mill holders. Holders mounted on the threaded spindle are far more rigid than the Morse taper holder. I don't have a tap this size. The threads are cut with a single point inside threading tool.
